The undefeated San Francisco 49ers (5-0) host the Washington Commanders (1-3-1) at Levi’s Stadium on Monday, October 19 (8:15 PM ET, ABC/ESPN). San Francisco is coming off a 32-29 win in Seattle in which its defense forced four turnovers and sacked Sam Darnold five times. Brock Purdy threw two touchdowns in his 50th career start and now has 13 touchdown passes this season. Christian McCaffrey has scored in four straight games. The 49ers are short-handed, though. Nick Bosa (knee/calf) and Deebo Samuel (hamstring) have been ruled out. Mike Evans, who leads the team in receiving and had 113 yards and a touchdown against Seattle, is questionable with rib and Achilles injuries after missing practice Thursday and Friday.
